Full English Breakfast

Hi, this recipe is my own and serves one, but can easily be scaled up for more! I have previously made an Easy full english and a Vegan full english , if you want to have a look at those too.  This was much faster to make than I had anticipated and everything came together at the just right time, which is always a bit of a worry with having so many pans on the go at once (and things under the grill too!). You can change up how you cook the egg (I did scrambled) but some other options are poached, boiled, fried or even baked eggs (think Shakshuka-style).  Traditionally, you may also have fried bread, fried or grilled tomatoes and black pudding, so feel free to add those too. And, is usually served with a nice cup of tea. Enjoy! Iuliana's Biscuits

This is a recipe that I got given to by one of my Dads work friend. I went round their house to do some baking with them and this is what we made...These biscuits are so so so nice and are really easy as well.

-Suitable for vegetarians.

Ingredients:
-250g butter (cut into small cubes, softened)
-140g caster sugar
-300g sifted plain flour
-1 egg yolk
-2 tsp vanilla extract

Method:
1:Mix the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2:Break the egg and seperate the yolk and white, keeping the yolk and adding it to the butter and sugar mix. (You can throw away the white now)
3:Mix in the vanilla extract.
4:Add half the flour and mix well, then add the rest and mix slowly until you've got a nice dough that's not too wet.
5:Knead the dough into a ball. Leave it in the bowl and put in the fridge for about 30 mins to chill.
6:Roll out the dough to about the thickness of a £1 coin.
7:Cut circles with the rim of a glass or use cookie/biscuit cutters.
8:Grease a baking tray and lay out the biscuits with a little gap between each.
9:Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180℃/Gas 4/160℃ Fan/350℉ for 12-15mins
10:The biscuits will harden when cooling so take them out of the oven when they are still slightly soft.
11:Carefully, slide them off of the tray and cool on a rack. ENJOY!!
