Full English Breakfast

Hi, this recipe is my own and serves one, but can easily be scaled up for more! I have previously made an Easy full english and a Vegan full english , if you want to have a look at those too.  This was much faster to make than I had anticipated and everything came together at the just right time, which is always a bit of a worry with having so many pans on the go at once (and things under the grill too!). You can change up how you cook the egg (I did scrambled) but some other options are poached, boiled, fried or even baked eggs (think Shakshuka-style).  Traditionally, you may also have fried bread, fried or grilled tomatoes and black pudding, so feel free to add those too. And, is usually served with a nice cup of tea. Enjoy! Bagels

Hi, this recipe if from The Tasty Website, they have tons of amazing quick and convenient recipes on their website and YouTube. Tasty try to make cooking a fun and easy experience so I definitely recommend you go and check them out. This recipe was a gift for my mum and it makes 4 bagels, they are very filling but so good!! Mine rose so much the hole in the centre of the bagel was lost but that's okay. This is a good base recipe and from it you can build and add new flavours e.g a cinnamon and raisin bagel or cheesy bagels. It is a perfect recipe for flavour experimentation. Enjoy!!!

Dietary Info:
- Contains Gluten {If you are intolerant, you can substitute for a G-F self-raising flour and you should get the same results}
- Contains Dairy {You can switch to a lactose free greek yoghurt}
- May contain Nuts {This depends on your toppings, as some mixed seeds contain traces of nuts so if you have an allergy make sure you check the packet before using or maybe don't top with any seeds, just to be on the safe side}
- Suitable for Vegetarians
- Unsuitable for Vegans {To make Vegan bagels, switch to a dairy-free greek yoghurt and then instead of doing an egg wash you could do a milk wash with an almond/soya/oat milk}

Ingredients:
-1 ¾ cups self-rising flour (220 g), plus more for dusting
-1 cup greek yogurt (245 g)
-1 egg, beaten
-4 tablespoons everything seasoning, to taste {This is only available from Trader Joes in the US so I topped mine with mixed seeds}

Method:
1:Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C/180℃ Fan/Gas 6.
2:In a large bowl, mix the self-rising flour and greek yogurt until it comes together to form a ball. {You can turn it out onto a floured work-surface and knead if it isn't coming together too fast}
3:Transfer the dough ball to a lightly floured work surface and use your hands to begin flattening and shaping the rough into a roughly 8-inch (20 cm) disk. {This isn't necessary as long as you 1/4 the dough, you'll be fine}
4:Using a bench scraper or knife, cut the dough into 4 equal pieces.
5:One at a time, roll each piece of dough into a log roughly 8 inches (20 cm) long. Shape the log into a ring and transfer to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
6:Brush the tops of the bagels with egg wash and sprinkle generously with everything seasoning.
7:Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the bagels are golden brown. {don't worry if the holes in your bagels disappear, mine did when the dough rose}
8:Enjoy!
