Full English Breakfast

Hi, this recipe is my own and serves one, but can easily be scaled up for more! I have previously made an Easy full english and a Vegan full english , if you want to have a look at those too.  This was much faster to make than I had anticipated and everything came together at the just right time, which is always a bit of a worry with having so many pans on the go at once (and things under the grill too!). You can change up how you cook the egg (I did scrambled) but some other options are poached, boiled, fried or even baked eggs (think Shakshuka-style).  Traditionally, you may also have fried bread, fried or grilled tomatoes and black pudding, so feel free to add those too. And, is usually served with a nice cup of tea. Enjoy! My Sister's Chocolate Mug Cake

Hi, my sister made this recipe over Zoom with a club that she is part of; it was a last session before the summer treat. I am afraid that I don't know where the recipe came from originally, as we just received an email with ingredients on from the club but I am sure that there are lots of similar recipes online if you wish to see more. Also, we don't have a microwave and so had to bake them in cup-cake cases for a bit longer in the oven. The result was quite stodgy and they didn't rise as they don't have any baking powder or bicarbonate of soda in them so if my sister was to do it again, I would suggest maybe adding a smidgen of baking powder as it might make them less heavy. However, my sister can confirm that the ones made in the microwave looked better and were enjoyed by her friends. If you try this let me know how it went for you! Enjoy!!

Dietary Info:
-Contains Dairy {Substitute the milk and marg for dairy-free ones and if you want to include/use chocolate chips, yOu could cut up some dairy-free chocolate and use that instead}
-Contains Gluten {Use a gluten-free flour e.g almond or oat}
-No Nuts
-Unsuitable for Vegans {Unless you make it Dairy-Free}
-Suitable for Vegetarians

Ingredients:
-50g plain flour
-25g sugar
-10g cocoa powder
-30g cooking margarine {any butter or spread will do but if making in an oven the marg will have to be melted before hand}
-1tbsp milk {We used whole milk}
-chocolate chips {optional, we used dark chocolate chips}

Method:
1: Mix together all the dry ingredients in a mug or bowl if baking in the oven. Also, if baking you will need to preheat the oven now to 180℃/160℃ fan/355℉/ Gas 4.
2: Now, add in your margarine and milk. Stir until combined. Add in chocolate chips if desired and stir again.
3: Next, if you are baking your cakes, separate the mixture into 4 cupcake cases, put into a cupcake tray and bake for 10-15mins. They should be baked until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
4: However, if you are using a microwave, pop the mug in for 1 minute.
5: Enjoy!!
