Full English Breakfast

Hi, this recipe is my own and serves one, but can easily be scaled up for more! I have previously made an Easy full english and a Vegan full english , if you want to have a look at those too.  This was much faster to make than I had anticipated and everything came together at the just right time, which is always a bit of a worry with having so many pans on the go at once (and things under the grill too!). You can change up how you cook the egg (I did scrambled) but some other options are poached, boiled, fried or even baked eggs (think Shakshuka-style).  Traditionally, you may also have fried bread, fried or grilled tomatoes and black pudding, so feel free to add those too. And, is usually served with a nice cup of tea. Enjoy! Pizza Express Doughballs

This recipe is from  HERE  and was supposedly from Pizza express to make their well-known and liked doughballs and garlic butter. I didn't make the garlic butter because I made dough balls in the first place on suggestion of my mum due to the fact that we had some leftover Garlic and Herb dip from Dominoes Pizza take-away that needed using up. They didn't taste exactly like the pizza express ones but as I haven't been in a while I wasn't 100% certain as the rest of my family thought they did. I haven't included the recipe for the garlic butter but if you want to make it go to the link above and it will be there. I hope you enjoy.....

Dietary Info:
-Contains Gluten
-No Dairy {Unless making/using a dip but you can get dairy-free butter to use or other free-from options}
-No Nuts
-Suitable for Vegetarians/Pescatarians
-Suitable for Vegans {Unless very strict about the living organism factor of yeast and just get a dairy-free dip}

Ingredients:
-150ml warm water (roughly 27℃) {I didn't check it, just make sure it's warm. I ran the hot tap for a long time to get it really warm}
-1tsp sugar {I used white granulated sugar but if you had any other types of sugar I reckon they would work as well }
-15g fresh yeast (2tsp dried) {I used dried}
-225g plain flour
-1+1/2tsp salt
-Extra virgin olive oil {Just a splash}

Method:
1: Preheat the oven to 230℃/210℃ fan assisted/445℉/ gas 7. {I didn't preheat it now as you're not going to use it for about an hour}

2: Add the sugar and fresh yeast into the warm water. Allow to stand for 10-15 {Mine took 20mins} minutes in a warm space until a froth develops. {I put mine in the airing cupboard with the boiler but I guess if you put the oven on really low, maybe 50℃ or a bit more, that would be a warm space or in the sun}

3: Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Make a well in the middle and pour in the yeast mix.
4: Lightly flour your hands and slowly mix everything together until they bind. {Add in the olive oil at this point. I forgot to so after I had already made the dough and realised it needed to be added, I kneaded it into the dough}

5: Generously flour the surface, throw down the dough. Knead for 10mins, until smooth,silky and soft. Leave to rest until soft to touch but not too springy. {Mine took about 20-25mins}

6: Roll into a long tube and chop into chunks; place in an oven proof dish. Leave to rest for 30mins.

7: Bake for 6mins until golden. {Mine took about 15mins maybe 20}
oll dough into a 1.2m long tube. Chop into 16 chunks and place in an oven proof pan. Leave the Dough Balls to rest in the pan for 30 mins. Make sure the oven has reached temperature and bake for six minutes until golden. For the garlic butter, blend olive oil and chopped garlic into a paste. Pour over butter and blend with a spoon.
